1. What these technologies are

Cookies are small text files that a website or service places in your browser. Local storage and similar browser technologies can store information on your device. These technologies can remember a session, support security, maintain preferences, or help measure how a service is used. Some are set by Boonly’s service providers when their services are used.

2. Essential authentication and session technologies

Boonly uses Supabase Auth for email/password and optional Google authentication. Supabase and Boonly use browser storage, cookies, or related session technologies to keep you signed in, refresh authentication tokens, connect requests to the correct account, and protect restricted pages. These technologies are necessary for account features to work.

Their duration depends on the session and token lifecycle. Some may last only for a browsing session; persistent authentication storage can remain until it expires, is refreshed or cleared, or you sign out.

3. Security and service operation

Boonly and its infrastructure providers may use cookies, request identifiers, logs, and similar technologies to route traffic, detect abuse, maintain service stability, troubleshoot errors, and protect accounts and infrastructure. The precise technologies and durations can vary based on operational and security needs.

4. Preferences

Boonly stores customer profile and notification preferences in the account database. The application or browser may also retain limited local state needed to preserve a session or interface state. Boonly does not currently provide a separate in-product cookie-preference or consent manager.

5. Analytics

Boonly currently uses Google Analytics 4 to understand website and platform traffic and usage. Google Analytics may set or read cookies and similar identifiers and process information such as page views, browser or device information, approximate location derived from IP address, and timestamps. Analytics cookies commonly persist beyond a single browser session, although their exact duration can change based on Google’s configuration and your browser settings.

You can learn about Google’s practices and available controls through Google’s privacy and analytics resources. Blocking analytics technologies may reduce the usage information available to Boonly but should not, by itself, prevent core account features from working.

6. Payment-related technologies

When you open Stripe Checkout or the Stripe Customer Portal, Stripe may use cookies and similar technologies for payment processing, fraud prevention, security, and operation of its pages. Those technologies are controlled by Stripe and are subject to Stripe’s policies. Boonly does not receive or store your full payment-card number.

7. Other third-party technologies

Google may use authentication-related technologies when you choose “Continue with Google.” Hosting and application-infrastructure providers may process technical identifiers needed to serve and secure Boonly. SendGrid processes email delivery and engagement information for Boonly’s transactional and alert emails, including open and click tracking currently enabled for those messages. Following a link from Boonly to an independent funding provider takes you to a third-party site with its own technologies and policies.

8. Managing cookies and browser storage

Most browsers let you view, block, or delete cookies and site data, and some offer controls that restrict tracking technologies. The steps vary by browser and device. You may also use available Google controls to limit Google Analytics.

Disabling or clearing essential authentication or session storage may sign you out, prevent sign-in from completing, or stop account, saved-find, alert, billing, and other protected features from working correctly. Because Boonly does not currently provide an in-product consent manager, browser and provider controls are the available controls for these technologies.

9. Changes to this Cookie Policy
